Le Val de Becasse Residential

 

Brief:
The project was to demolish existing bungalow and replace with new family home.

 

Design elements:
The client was a well known local stone mason so we designed the house with styling to incorporate natural craftsmanship and a sympathetic design to blend the materials. We oriented the new building to make the most of the rural and sea views.

 

Materials and finishes:
Construction consisted of external granite walls to a modern timber frame with beautiful eyebrow windows finished in cedar shingles on the roof. Insulation values are extremely high making this a highly energy efficient home.
